Pennsylvania woman charged in deaths of infants
Of all the news-feeds that I have read through so far, this was greatly disturbing. As soon as I started to read the article I started to shake my head in disbelief that someone would be capable of harming an infant - let alone 5! I have to admit, I didn't finish reading it as it was ultimately depressing and saddening to read such an event took place. Although nothing can be done to bring those children back into this world, it is my hope that the mother receives the mental care she needs and serves time in jail.

I was not aware of this in the news and do not know the detail of it but events like this saddens me as well. As a mother, I can not fathom the possibility of harming my child let alone any other child. Therefore I can not comprehend the woman’s actions of harming 5 children. I hope the system gives her the help she needs to warrant her behavior and the punishment to fit her crime. I do not understand why people do what they do and unfortunately realize that this type of crime will probably in the news again.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea how or why anyone would intentionally hurt anyone, especially a defenseless child. I have always felt this way, but the feeling got stronger when I had a child of my own.
ReplyDeleteMy mom always told me "You will never know how much I love you until you have children of your own." She was right! The love I have for my children is unimaginable. I didn't know I was capable of loving this much. How could anyone in their right mind harm a child, let alone 5! It is scary what our world is becoming. I had a teacher approach me today and say she received an email from one of her students. They said they would not be in today because their parents got in a fight. Plus they thought their arm was broken. I fear for this kid and truly hope the parents didn't to anything to harm them!
